Geez, if I knew that Santa was that generous, I would have made a few decisions differently this year. Beautiful cars. Will you keep both? To my mind, they would be a good compliment to each other.
Too soon to tell...literally drove the new one 20 feet...off the truck and into the garage next to the RS. I've learned that 475 hp cars on DOT tires do no do well in damp 40 degree weather. So probably another day or two before I get to drive it. But will def post my POV on the 2 cars. Just trying to keep up with Joe Bill
Bill, I have no doubt the new GT3 will be amazing, just interested to see how the lack of manual trans effects your driving experience. Those sticky tires no likey the cold though!
Bill I don't know what to say, except, congratulations!!! You will not forget this Christmas. Trust me when I tell you that the engine in the 991 GT3 is very special...
Thanks Joe Cant wait for a warm dry day to try it out ! Should be in the 60's by end of the week Bill
Bill, Did you receive your invitation? Porsche Ag are really rolling out the red carpet for GT3 owners! Congrats Bill... beautiful pair! Whats your impression of the seats? ...do you have any concerns of them being too upright?
again only limited use so far but no issues...not vastly different from the GT2 buckets in my 3.8 RS. I've also owned a set of the Euro 997 GT3 (Carrera GT) seats as well...of the 3 I would say the CGT seats are my favorite. One thing I did note about the new LWB seats is that the base seat cushion is much longer than the 997 GT2 buckets. Combined with the electric height adjustment that is a big plus for taller drivers. Bill
Bill congrats, stunning, enjoy it in good health. That is the first one I have seen with the Race Seats (Still my most agonizing decision when ordering mine). White looks absolutely incredible, I can't wait till mine arrives in about 2 weeks.
