    I have a 1996 C4S that I haven't been using. I'm think about selling it.

    What are ballpark prices, or what's a good source for up-to-date air cooled 911 pricing?

    Thanks!

    Matt

    I'd hazard a guess of $65k+. Hagerty has a good guide, but unfortunately, 993s are not in there. My next guess would be to look at Excellence.

    Mileage, color, condition? Additional info would help.

    40k at best. Let me know where to send the money...

    ;)

    I think completed listings on eBay might be a good way to get some comps.

    Mine's a black/black C4S, 68,000 miles, decent condition. 2+ or so.

    I'm not trying to get a super accurate estimate for my car, I'd just like to get a ballpark range.

    c4s is quite attractive to the 993 collector. i agree w/ henry...$65k +++.

    that said a black/black c4s is a keeper!!

    that seems to be the case, but not sure why...I'd much rather have a C2, or a turbo (or a turbo S!)

    yet C4S prices have been very strong. is it a rarity thing or...?

    I don't think it's rarity. See the production numbers below.

    For me, I bought a C4S because it has everything the Turbo does (wide body, big red brakes) but no turbos to maintain or cool down.

    henry, that was a very nice sc. I remember thinking that you should not sell for what now looks like a give away price!!

    glad I did not sell my 930.
