2011 is out of warranty. No problems in the 4 years.

Indy service is recommending updating the computer. 280 hp and 250 ft lbs of torque now. Reprogramming will mean hp up 35 hp and torque up 32' lbs.

Anybody done this? Any problems? Is performance noticeable? How much?

I have never seen a NA engine to get that kind of gain from simple ECU programming.
Turbo or supercharged yes but NA will have negligent gain.
    Don't waste your money.

This, plus who knows what the side effects are.

If Porsche couldn't figure it out...

LOL I have been doing mods to Porsche's for 40 years, and all over the above is correct (though I cant comment on what they are smoking), TPC makes a turbo kit that will transform the car, but other than that even if you did go ECU, exhaust, and better airflow, you will probably not see much more than 15 or 20HP and that will likely be at the upper end of the RPM range.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the car is fast enough as is!

The good stuff: Over $300 an ounce.

I had an APR tune on a 997.1 Carrera S and there was more noticeable low end torque (I think it basically activates "sport mode" all the time) and a small difference in high end HP...all seat of the pants, never dyno'd it. no engine issues, at least over the 15k miles or so I drove it. no difference in mileage. I'd be surprised if their HP claims are true but the same can be said for most aftermarket exhaust companies too.

that said, I don't know if I'd do it again, a lot of money for marginal gains.
