997.2 turbo could be ordered with the manual, but not the turbo S which was PDK only.

my guess is MY would be 2012, not sure if any "standard" turbos were made in 2013, I think it was just a limited number of turbo S models in '13.

edit: check out this thread on RL http://rennlist.com/forums/997-turbo-forum/888583-997-2-coupe-information-production-numbers-where-to-find-colors.html

no 2013 manuals, so look for a 2012. only 261 manual turbo 997.2 coupes imported to US (no numbers on cabs), good luck on the search!

I agree, you need a CPA and a few attorneys to figure out Porsche's allocation and production schedules

997.2 tt with a manual would be a great usable exotic. although if I were you I'd keep looking for a nice blue or gray 599 ;)

spend some time with any of the 992 varients, soon there should be a few to choose from as some owners must have the latest offering from the now all turbo line up arriving at dealers... 3.8s and turbos, especially loaded with the newer chassis options... the 992 have an edge over earlier varients... the "big block" normally aspirated engines make great noises...specifically look at the specs and compare the performance to other prior year high dollar top favorites... the 992 may not have the sizzle of the collectables, but performance comes close to having the same ( or better ) kick in the grass, while getting a nearly new car with the latest handling

I have a 2012 tt with 6 speed manual. It was the only manual in their showroom and I drove it and a tts with PDK. Salesman told me they would eventually drop the tt manual and only sell turbo S with PDK in the 2013 and later years. Not sure if that happened. But the Turbo 6 speed is never discussed much. Boost can be increased with a manual button that puts it close to the S. It is my daily drive. Love it.
