    Anyone here interning to bid on the porsche 918 ?

    I was thinking of bidding for it but i am pretty sure the repair bills would be too much ?

    Anyone knows about this cars

    With only 918 made I am sure just getting the parts would be difficult. Then locating a tech to work on the car, then the labor. Likely just shipping it back to the factory would be best approach to find parts and skills to reconstruct the car. Several years ago I saw a Ford GT 40 that had been flooded in a freak accident. A local Ford dealer completely took it completely apart and it took over a year and the owner was a big time collector. So not a task without at least a low six figure budget for the repairs plus having enough juice to get the factory to take on the project. It looks like a lot of hurdles unless you have done similar projects and have a pretty good bank to go with?
