I really love the lnew look. Hunchback is gone.
supposedly top version will be hybrid ala 918 with over 700hp.

just read in excellence mag that they will eventually offer a 5 seat version. that would make it perfect to me. give me a v6tt with air suspension, 4 wheel steering, sport chrono. best 4 seater in world.

hybrid is not a supercar ala 918 but still pretty good. has 462 hp, awd, and the new 8sp pdk transmission. 30 mile electric range with 0-60 in 4.5s. might even be less expensive than regular pana. perfect!

now they just need to add that rear bench seat

I'd say Telsa need a nice interior to compete with Porsche. Tesla is all go, no show. Great technology, but a 6 figure Tesla has the interior of a 3er BMW, or worse IMO.

How can you say that, the Telsa interior is at least as good as a Chev but then a Chev doesn't go for six figures either.

Space is significantly less than most SUVs as well.

If you need space to carry people and luggage... the Cayenne has a lot more room.

And for parking ease... the Cayenne is much shorter (but a little wider).

    2017 Porsche Cayenne: Length - 191.1″
    2016 Porsche Panamera: Length - 197.4" (or 203.3″ executive)
    2017 Porsche Macan: Length - 184.3 to 185″

    2017 Porsche Cayenne: Width - 78.7″
    2016 Porsche Panamera: Width - 76.02″
    2017 Porsche Macan: Width - 76.1″

So that's the challenge.... if you need more space, the Cayenne is better... if you don't need the space, why not just get a 911?

I still think the new body style is gorgeous though.

I have had two panameras and currently have 2014 Panamera GTS and love it has a great sound (v8) and carries a ton of stuff. I also own a 2016 cayenne Turbo this is a great vehicle also my wife loves it (got the comfort seats).. not sure it carbs any more stuff but it does have 5 seats...
I also have a2016 Audi RS7 and it is less money the the turbo panamera and I have to say I like it better .. but they both service their purpose...
I am really sold on porsche great cars and overall very high build quality ...

Got invited to a PCNA reveal next month. If any car can convince my wife that to forego an SUV/pickup for DD duties, it may be this car. Or, a used FF. Fingers crossed! :)

Porsche announces debut of turbo s hybrid for Geneva show next month.

should be insane with almost 700hp. basically a toned down 918 spider drivetrain in a panamera.

my pick for best sedan all time

Sport wagon also to debut in geneva. Looks good but only has 4 plus 1 seating with almost no leg room for middle seat. Not sure why they dont just make all panamera option of true 5 seats.
