Guys, I thought I would share some pics of my SC. I bought the car back in 2012 in a nice driver condition. I was interested in a unique color SC or Carrera. This one showed up with sunroof delete in Talbot Yellow and I was too weak to resist. Previous owner had an extensive rebuild (completed January 2012). The engine work included resized rods, rebuilt cylinder heads, valves ground, new valve guides and stem seals, crankshaft micropolished, new timing chains and ramps, new oil return tubes and o-rings. New main, rod and intermediate shaft bearings were purchased from Pelican before being sent to Calico Coatings for treatment. The body was in great shape but paint was worn so I decided to have Tony and Marco Gerace at TLG Auto and John Esposito Porsche disassemble, strip down to bare metal and repainted in original color. I had George Baloian of Levon Mobile upholstery completely redo the interior including dash, headliner, carpet and period correct Sport seats and Porsche Pinstripe Velour inserts. Also made a few mods on RS style door cards with the same velour. Last year I added the Carrera stripe and a duck tail which is easily reversible. It's sort of a 'back-date' to a '74 Carrera .... Tom, Looks like you're having way too much fun!! The 911SC is one of my favorites!! Checks off so many Porsche boxes!! Freeman
So many years ago my Porsche pal bought this car new (seventies). Then he did the flares & tail for that Carrera look you have too. He went on to install a full set of Italian Webers and really clean up the engine bay of the 2.7 over the years ~ built for power. The car still has original paint (other than the flares & tail) and he has put every mile on the car himself keeping it immaculate to this day. Great great color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My friend has a 78 sc same colour combo, we took it to the Phillip Island classic festival of Motorsport earlier this year and shared racing it in the regularity class 1&2. What a great event, the car performed effortlessly without a single problem. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi All, Could you please let me know the paint colors to a nice Ferrari Yellow, I'm painting my old 928 it used to be Yellow but I have no idea what the color codes were and since I'm painting it I would rather have Ferrari Yellow.
Adam, If it’s a 5 spd...and in decent shape, maybe find the correct Porsche code/color to maintain value. Collectors pay big for manual transmission 928’s these days. Had you considered this?
