So is it confirmed that the 991.2 GT3 will be unveiled at Geneva this week?

Such great news. I am on the list for one. I had actually planned for a GT2, but suspect the availability will be limited such that only VIPs get them so will likely pass. Besides, I loved my 991.1 GT3, and was disappointed with my RS. 4.0 L, manual, what would not be to love..,

Yes vconfirmed here in Austria GT3 with Manual gear and 500 PS 1430 Kg starting here 154.000.-€

What do you think the new 991.2 gt3s will actually go for? And what will happen to the 997 and 991 gt3 prices?

I think 250k won't be far off, maybe approaching 300k depending on the build

997 prices will "correct" by 10-20% and 991.1 gt3 prices will actually start to depreciate.

But I'm super excited and hope to get an allocation at my dealer. I've been almost begging for the past 5 years to get the opportunity to spec out a gt3 but I'm no 918 owner or anything like that. But I have a deposit down and told them I would do PCCB, bucket seats, PTS color as a dream build. And if I actually do get an allocation he'll im doing the European delivery lol

Is it that hard to get These Cars in US?

The new One is here in May at our Dealerships.
And most People compare it here with 911R

Price is in the press release I posted above.... MSRP is $143,600. I suspect most builds will be in the $160's.

I don't think it will affect the 997 prices much. Different car, different era, different driving experience.

I agree most builds will be in the 160 range. I used the euro cc link and mine was around 170. When the 991.1 gt3 came out dealers in Southern California were asking and getting $30k mark up. With all the hype surrounding this release and MT I can see those markups going $50k+. I hope I'm wrong

All the local dealers in California are sold out years ahead, pretty much pushing us back into Ferrari.

Not really understanding German marketing, if its not for sale, its not for sale.

The only logical thing I can think of is the cars are really a loser profit wise for the Porsche factory. At some point limited availabilty helps sell other brands.

I have always had a weird romance with the GT3, I have liked it enough to look, build, and admire but never loved it enough to buy or own one. I just feel that unless you have some great roads to drive or an opportunity to track they are not great city cars. My driving is 95% city and I only have 2 garage spots for my cars (wife parks CayenneT outside).

But .. I really really want to try it as a 3rd car (I will find room somewhere). I have CalitTHS coming April and a Lusso (for next year late summer). With that info would you recommend I go manual or PDK? Maybe 6speed to keep it different..?

the PDK is very good, more so in daily driver mode, have choice of choosing manual or PDK, I wind up going to the PDK more often... the pedal box in the newer 911 seems too tight / restricted for me, and especially when wearing bulky shoes

Any update on how hard manual GT3 is to get? Any thoughts on what a well specced build will cost and what resale values will be?
I'm hearomg it's NOT that easy to get one in the US.

But the reviewers said the same for the 991.1 GT3, I want to know how it compares to the 991.1 GT3 and GT3RS.
