    Weird question, but sometimes on my dash when I'm driving, there will be an arrow facing downward when in auto mode. ITs there from 1-7. I know the arrow in paddle mode is there to tell me to shift, but what is it there when in auto mode for? If I hit auto a and then hit it again, the arrow doesn't come back. Just curious.

    That up arrow is to tell you upshift to save gas.

    Yea I know. I'm taking about the arrow being there when the car is in auto mode.

    Yes, all cars have this lame "feature" now so they can do the EPA tests
    It means stop using auto mode and drive with the bloody paddles. :)
