I bought these for a project and decided to do something different. Perfectly good condition, have under 2k miles. Rotors were from an F430 Challenge I believe. Front Rotors are 398mm x 36mm - 11lbs rears are 350mm x 34 mm- 7.4 lbs Asking $6k OBO, any questions please feel free to PM. Thanks. I have found the weight or thickness on these rarely falls outside of the stated tolerances: the only real reliable gauge is how pitted the surface is i.e. how many long strands have oxidised.

The 398mm discs/rotors look in reasonable shape to me - I'd put them at 40% worn. One of the 350mm rears is quite near to the end of its usable life but the other is good. For reference a new disc has no pitting and a completely worn one has substantial pitting - covering approximately 60% of the surface area. Obviously, this is not an exact science.

I am willing to separate them as well. Selling as pairs. Ex 2 fronts or 2 rears.
My knowleage is about the exact opposite thing - that the thickness is not so important. Actually what shows the wear are the peeled pieces of material, that also reflect the weight of the disc. To be honest - these look a little bit peeled, maybe the 2000 mileage has been done on the track. By the way - the rear ones should fit a 430 Scud, as well as a normal F430.
Understood. Plenty of surface left. If interested shoot me a reasonable offer as I am looking to move them quick. Thanks.
Who here has the ACTUAL specs weights and measurements and exactly how to inspect these rotors of wear and what is acceptable damage etc..i have an email out to brembo for this information but no response as of yet. I need this info for safety inspections etc..thanks to any one who replies with manufacturer specs.. I know for a fact Porsche has far different tolerances then Ferrari. Yes I know the weights and minimum thicknesses are on the rotors..but what about acceptable chips, cracks etc..the Ferrari manuals are gauge..just says replace if any damage. I want the ACTUAL specs from the manufacturer, not the car company.
It will be hard to obtain that information. Not even sure there is a rule of thum other than what's discussed above to check them. I have done research and my understanding is some European companies even use X ray machines to inspect let alone at pure eyesights. Are you interested in these? I could try to obtain more info
From 2 different sources, the min weight on the front CCM rotors. Min weight is measured with the bell & hardware. 13.6lb http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/430-scuderia-rotor-options.515980/ min weight: 6190g or 13.6lb (ferrari life forums) http://www.***********.com/forums/modern-v8s-360-f430/18111-ccm-discs-lifetime-track-5.html#post218204
Thanks for the info and help. I have an offer on the rotors but it's requiring shipping to Somewhere in Europe, If I don't find a buyer here local in the U.S. they will be gone by the weekend.
Price drastically reduced to $3500 + Shipping. Need to move them fast. I'll entertain offers in the vicinity.
If anyone is interested in these rotors, please feel free to submit any offers. I am considering all options currently. Thanks.
The Rear rotors have been sold. We have the Front rotors left. I will part those out as well if any interest. Thx
