is there a dealer out there that seems to really be motivated to provide the best deals? don't need all the options. most important is sport and 9" rear wheels. thoughts?

There is a sales and leasing section on the Giulia forum where people describe the deals they are getting out there. http://www.giuliaforums.com/forum/313-dealers-purchasing-ordering/

thank you for this! I may lease one for 24 months. before doing so, I will have a look at the link.

cannot believe how hard it is to find one with the 19x9 rear wheels!

I like this Misano Blue Metallic. Looks good in person also. The color line up is pretty boring other than this color and the reds(although red metallic is overused by everyone). Need metallic ivory(Fuji white on the Maserati GS's), yellow and green. Not boring grey and white!! Oh and also Alfa light racing red non metallic.

The Giulia also needs a nose job, but that will take a few years unfortunately.

The Bianco Fuji equivalent is already there. It's called Bianco Trofeo. So is the "light racing red non metallic": Rosso Alfa.

Maybe it's the same phenomena that occurred with Maserati when they came out with the new "Ghibli" (still can't get used to that ...) and QP. They had a lot of cars in dull and boring colors. Silver & black, silver & black ... with dull interiors as well.
That's still mostly what I see on the road here. I've seen them optioned much nicer than that so pick your Alfa dealer carefully.

Thanks MacGeek...I have not seen Bianco Trofeo in person yet. I would like a lighter red non metallic. I don't get the Alfa color choices with most being dull. I don't think a Volvo buyer will stumble onto a Alfa dealer lot and buy a Giulia yet. They should be marketing more flashy and sporty for the first few years.

On the Alfa dealer, they had 3 of this color and that car had the best sun angle, although I would not buy from this dealer anyway.

There was a burgundy Giulia at the local dealership. Looked good. Not the pre-war Alfa racing red but apparently they call it Monza Red.

Congrats. Was it really $65K? I noticed they are advertising at least $8-10k less than any other dealership.

Sweet, love the volcano black with silver wheels, I feel that the silver wheels just make it pop all the more. Let's see some pics once u get her. That metallic black is just phenomenal!

    dave,

yes, $65k plus $595 doc fee and taxes. no funny business that I got from other dealers. just a simple transaction and pleasant to deal with. I am really happy and feel I got a bargain. as a note: many dealers in SoCal are still asking msrp + a market adjustment of $5k. I would not have bought the car @ $80k +.

I was not even considering a black car but after seeing the metallic effect, I was sold! and yes, the silver wheels look nice against the black. it is really a pretty car.
