Happens all the time on eBay, I ranted about this some time back here on F-Chat - sorry to hear.

 

I have a beautiful 998R for sale with just 3275 miles on it and a MH900e Hailwood for sale as well. I am keeping three other motorcycles so I am not finished riding. Let me know if anyone here is interested. Both in Southern California. Ciao

I remember having this glossy data sheet for all the bikes in 1994...including the 888 spo ltd. nice post and trip down memory lane.

When I figure out how to post photos, I will show you my yellow 996 Monoposto after I broke it in half. I swallowed a bunch of teeth and the odometer....seriously. I was on serious meds so don't remember depositing it in the toilet (5 days later due to constipation from surgery drugs). I also broke my wrists and dislocated my elbows...fun day. Of all my bikes, this was by far my favourite, I still have my RG500 Gamma though....it's a close second. I will definetly purchase another 996....Tamburini was/is a design God. Btw, a new driver blew through a stop sign and I hit the side of his car....was his fault. When I woke up, he was getting a pretty thorough beating from a friend I was riding with.
