When I was picking up beer last night, I thought to myself the game of two media driven dumpster fire teams could turn into a good game.
I suspect the ratings will make sagging prime time, non-Cowboy matchups look even more egregious! I thought London games were live streamed as of last year by Yahoo. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000849237/article/stream-the-ravensjaguars-london-game-for-free T
^Gronk's playing, and it would not surprise me if Houston win, but Watson looked shaky against a marginal team last Thursday. At a minimum, we may get a good gauge of just how woeful the Saints defense is this year, based on whether the Pats look like the team of week #1 or week # 2...T
Oh that talk is picking up Friday after the epic Thursday night game and how both of those coaches are making those teams look competent. And if Hoyer keeps playing like that, it doesn't bode well for OB. But if Ricky doesn't go either, the fans may be at NRG stadium with pitch forks.
LOL. Google "Bill O'Brien time out call" and you'll get an interesting assortment of articles, including one that accused him of coaching scared and costing them an upset victory yesterday...T
It's all over the place. Just in a group text message yesterday, I text, "Why didn't O'Brien call a time out?". My friend replies, "Why didn't Watson, he should know.". Then on the after game show, it was the same back and forth. With one of the hosts caveat of Watson thinking in a college mindset that the clock stopped with the catch and tackle. As well as saying one of the veterans, like Hopkins should have called for time out. Bottom line for me, is they should have been coaching this exact play. You can't run 40 yards downfield fast enough to spike the ball with that little amount of time on the clock.
Hard to believe BO was on the NE coaching staff for five years. Seems like he didn't learn much there.
He might be the reason that guys like Daniels and Patricia would rather stay with BB than go on their own...T
Tom If you are referring to Josh McDaniels he was hired at Denver as head coach. He was terrible and lasted a year. He went back to being OC at NE. Impressed that Bellychick and NE were so loyal.
No problemo. Please note that ex-Bronco Cutler looked like the old real Cutler this last week...awful.
LOL. Interesting tenure by Josh in Denver. Per Wiki... "McDaniels's tenure with the Broncos was marred early on by a controversy involving an alleged trade offer from the Patriots involving the team's quarterback, Jay Cutler, which would have sent Matt Cassel to Denver. On March 9, 2009, according to ESPN, a conference call involving McDaniels, team owner Pat Bowlen and Cutler failed to resolve the issues. Cutler said he did not trust McDaniels and the organization following the trade controversy." And this..."On November 27, The Denver Post reported the Broncos were under investigation from the NFL, after it was reported that Steve Scarnecchia, the team's director of video operations hired by McDaniels in 2009, videotaped a San Francisco 49ers' walkthrough practice, during the teams' Week 8 game at Wembley Stadiumin London, England." Hmm. Videotaping practices. I wonder where he learned that little trick?!? T
