Awesome thread! The car looks great Christian.
No carbon at the outside but i will change this. The car is beside hifi system, rollbar and some alcantara option absolut naked, the man who config the spec wanted a clean pure car and in my eyes it is just spot on. btw the man was on of THE man in the car, sportcar and race business... As a lightweight maniac it is no wonder i didn't want too much options! Ferdinand Piëch! It spoke for itself that a Porsche man prefer to buy a Speciale for sticker price instead of a GT3 with family discount... Joking aside, the Piëch family are true petrolheads, so no wonder that they love Ferrari! For me this ownership make my Speciale much more special and it will be a keeper for sure! Haven't you changed the all-important H-points if you do this? This is the position of the hip, which is a critical measurement used for planning crash safety, deployment of airbags etc? I know you can get height adjustable seats but that is taken into account by the manufacturer, if you do it yourself you are presumably outside their planning boundaries? I know that you cannot retrofit harnesses for this reason - airbag calibration is set differently for seat-belt or harness.
No worries, people heigh are much more different than these cm i won with the delete. In the 430 Scuderia the spacers were option and the rails came sometimes without from factory and in the speciale the heigh adjusment fitting is also without these spacers.
Here is pic of my ex-Italia with heigh adjusment and the rails are without spacers directly mounted on the chassis. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Ferdinand Piëch car? That's a unicorn gem of a car, you had great luck in finding it and I think Ferrarichat can't appreciate how important that ex-owner is or that family importance, for the matter. Great find, great taste, great car, congratulations.
