Hi Guys. Do you know how many cars Ferrari produces in a year?
ie. How many 360's are produced each year? How many F355 were produced each year etc.

    Thanks.

i don't know how many they made per year, but Ferrari made well over 11,000 360s; more than any other model... i would assume that dividing that up by 5 years would be pretty accurate, unless you're looking for exact numbers...

Again, as with the 360, i don't know exactly how many 355s were made each year, but they made a total of 4,915 355 Berlinettas, 2,577 355 GTSs and 3,714 355 Spiders...

Cavallino Magazine seems to have pretty good records that are published in each issue. According to there records 355B , '94-'98, 3829 produced.

trainsimple - there's a lot of data on this in the archives (search the original board archives too).

i have total 355 production at 11,273 units, of which 2,624 were F1 tranny and 8,649 were 6 speeds.

5,133 were Berlinettas, 2,048 were GTSs, and 2,663 Spiders.

i'm pretty sure this data is an amalgamation of info from FORZA and Cavallino and other sources probably listed in the archives here.

no 360 data, sorry. FSpA seems to be pretty tight with numbers until the model run is completely over.

I remember reading an email from Ferrari Owner's site when they were introducing the incoming F430 that they had produced 9900 360s and that the production had stopped. I cannot find the e-mail anymore, can anyone verify this?

412fly - the word on the street is that 360 production is STILL ongoing - just spiders. modena production may have stopped back when that email came out (i've never seen that email), but apparently spider and CS production continued. purportedly CS production continued until early-mid november, and spider production is still going on for a bit longer.

of course there's a lot of conflicting data out there on this topic, and ferrari themselves isn't saying much, as best i can tell.

but for sure there have been reports here from guys who were in the factory in november and saw spiders being built (and probably CSs too).

I can't remember exactly, but I heard that Ferrari made about 4,500 cars lastyear. I wouldn't be surprised if there are already 15,000 360s out there. They seem to be everywhere, especially south Florida.

The press release from Ferrari back in September for F430 indicated ~9900 360s build to that date. They did not indicate if it were the total of Spiders and Modenas they just said the production had stopped. I cannot find that press release and others have indicated that cs and spider production continues based on people taking factory tour.
I serached Google and could not find it.

The numbers I found on another forum are slightly different:
    Berlinetta GTS Spider
    6 Speed 3829 2048 2664
    F1 Gearbox 1042 529 1053
    for a total of 11165 (8541 manuals, 2624 F1s)

Perhaps the difference (108) is Challenge cars ?

probably more than that given they produced 1500 Stradales alone in 04.

That may be the answer to the depreciation factor that will probably happen with the 360's. I know.....another heated subject. That truly is a lot of high dollar exoctic sports cars from Ferrari in 5 yrs. How could the depreciation not be dictative of those numbers?
