Talking (Denver) Ferrari Spotters!!!!

Hi all,

I seem to recall a proper spotters thread in RM at one point. Maybe not?

There are actually a TON of F-Cars rolling around these days due to the GORGEOUS weather that we are enjoying up here. So here are a few that I've seen:

1. Red Testarossa heading north on I-25 in the DTC, looking FANTASTIC and in the fast lane of course...

2. Red 308 heading north on Ward Rd. in Arvada, guy is late 30's with a nice looking blonde in the car (Christie Brinkley?)

3. Red 328 heading west on 92nd avenue, turning south onto Indiana in Arvada, also seen this guy cruising on south east side of Standley Lake

hmmmm... c'mon guys... only RED?

A Mustang driving into the ass-end of a parked transporter on County Line Rd. If it would have happened 10 minutes later you could have kissed good-bye a Maserati being loaded into the trailer that I had sold the day before.
The Police estimated the car was traveling 57mph at the point of impact!!!

Derek,
You probably wouldn't know, but years before C470 was built, there was a horrific head on crash right near your store with a carload of kids passing on the hill. Forget how many fatalities. You may not believe it, but County Line was THE east-west route then for south Metro.

I'm not old enough to remember that!
County Line is still a very dangerous stretch of road unfortunately, especially in front of the store.

Vanquish

Okay- not a FERRARI, but certainly worth mentioning.

Titanium Aston Martin VANQUISH headed southbound on Speer at Auraria Blvd.

Ouch, just gorgeous. So aggressive looking!

Looks like the wonderful weather has ended for a few days. We recieved about 4 inches of snow last night down in the Springs. Streets are drying out, but the gravel is being laid down heavy.

If the rocks clear, I will be at FoD on Friday getting my cigarette lighter fixed (for the GPS), watching TV and eating donuts.

-I see a Testarossa on Arapahoe, near Smokey Hill, where Arapahoe turns into a one lane street. Pretty far east...

He lives in that area, I believe.

-I've seen a 550 @ PF Changs - Park Meadows

-TR turning on County Line, right by Krispy Kreme.

I believe that the Testarossa you are talking about is now at Paragon Motorcars. I think the guys name is Otto (I dunno), but he's friends with Matthew (PM's owner). The '88 C/T is Matt's. They used to drive up and down Arapahoe all the time.

Mule, don't forget the 4 pm chocolate cookies at FOD. It's a tradition and they are lucky that I'm so far North to run down at 4pm !

-I saw a yellow 360 Spider down around FoD.
-I've also seen a lady driving a red 550 maranello around here on University and Hampden a few times.

-And I've seen a black and silver Bentley GT on University by DU.
A Porsche GT2 on Colorado. And an SL65 at Cherry Creek mall.
