OK finally some good news. Clear gas is back in Denver Metro area at Brads Conoco. Brad's Conoco 303-988-3030 1075 S Union Blvd Lakewood, CO 80228 FYI I am not associated with this company, I just like no corn and water in my gas tank.
i still have 5 gallons on non eth stored from last year from brads. i will go there as soon as thats used up. i hope he never gives up selling this gas.
Decided i needed to go get gas today....ran into another chatter! We decided to do a quick drive down C470.....great time! Car season is never over around here. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was there on Thursday and Wednesday. I am not sure when I am going to be putting the car away so want to be sure that it's topped off accordingly for winter.
Wednesday and Thursday? LOL. There were enough nice days last winter that i got the car out atleast every two to three weeks.
I would agree but my driveway is north facing and sloped enough that I might not get it ice free for long periods. Secondly, this car runs very low temps, which isn't great during the winter. I am looking into remedies, though. Lastly, I have some projects to do over the winter so it will not be operational for a hefty chunk of it.
I know nothing of the costs for driveways, but found it interesting that these people (no relation) say they can add to existing driveways: http://www.warmquest.com/products-snow-melting.php
A couple more shots. It was great to see another Ferrari pull up. Driving down to FoD was a blast. These cars really are great. Dave of course you know, a Ferrari doesn't make you rich, it makes you poor. -F Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have been going to Brad's for years. It was a bummer two years ago when they decided to chip seal the street out front. It's still a paint chippin biatch so much so that I load up 50 gals of cans in the back of the truck these days. It's a pretty steep approach getting in there too not sure how some of you manage without scraping paint? Another place to buy on through the winter after Brad stops selling it is Duggans off Santa Fe. They sell it year around along with race gas. Just have to buy it in a gas can during the winter. They won't let you directly fill your tank.
The street coming north from Jewell is fine. Also the 308 does not scrape when you come into the station from the southside. Thanks for the tip on Duggans.
