That's not the F12's 'good side' anyway... looks awkward in that shot.

    MB looks good, though.

GOOD PIC of a Mountain Wave in the first pic... nice...

Looking at the windows of new cars (see the back of the F12), why do factory tints suck so bad that you always see those spots?

There's not tint. That's called using a polarized lens on the camera.

Correct and it's because it's cloudy, under bright sunlight it won't be like that.

    Thanks.
It's F599 GTO on the pic with my car btw, not F12.

    Found the answer guys.

Tempering the glass creates a birefringent piece, meaning it refracts light in 2 distinct indices. In essense, seeing these "spots" means you can see the stress map of the glass itself. Normally, you need a polarized lens or sunglasses to see it. I however, can see it in person without the shades ( I don't wear them unless I'm skiing). The reason it's not noticeable in the windshield itself (as opposed to the side and back glass) is due to the lamination.

I always had been stumped by why nobody with me could ever "see" it when walking by a car to which I'd point to and mention it. Car salesmen always thought I was off my rocker too. You guys can't see it in person?
