Talking Pikes Peak Car Meet (Colorado Springs)

Fellow Coloradans,

Well us Southern guys have decided to set up a car meet, were not trying to compete with the well established cars and coffee up in Denver area but wanted to offer an alternative for those who would want to drive south for some different scenery.

We will meet the last Saturday of the month at 8 am through lunch. Trappers Rendezvous graciously offered us their parking lot and patio to meet, they have great food cigars and beer and interesting scenery (see website) Trapper's Rendezvous in Colorado Springs, Co

Their address is 5905 Corporate Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 and if you have any questions please feel free to PM me or join our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/672189916252681/

Our first meet up is on the 26th of March, please consider driving down and help us kick off with some awesome cars!!

Thanks!
Jason

Count me in also. Could we have a little caravan down from Denver? Makes the journey down that much more enjoyable.

I won't make the first one, taking the car out to run Daytona Road Course at the Celebration Exotic Car Festival mid April.

This is great, would love for you to join us. There is a group meeting at the Sears outlet south of town at 8am and driving down. I will try to find a contact and let you know.

Sounds like we are going to have a great turn out. thanks!

Yes. A couple times it was also sanctioned as a rally and we got to start at the tollhouse. Some of the lower section in canyon were also sketchy butt-puckerers.

I'll try to make it. Depends on weather of course and thanks to this week's snow the cars are entombed once again. It's melting off pretty good today but snow is expected again Wednesday.

this sounds great. What are some of the c&c details around Denver? I found one at Vault in Parker. Are there any others that happen regularly?

Can't make it this month, but hopefully next time.

@ETL330 the other major C&C around is in Lafayette on the first Sat of each month. That's generally well attended.

Jason,

Has this happened for a first time yet? Hoping that I can make it down to the Springs for one of these.
