    Hello,

I got a speeding ticket recently in CO and there is a mandatory court appearance. (31 over)

Is it possible to hire a lawyer to represent me, or call the court to work out a deal where I can pay a fine instead? Has anyone experienced this before?

    Thank you!

Over the summer I was stopped outside of Lamar.... It was only 12 over....earlier in the year my wife was stopped for 25 over...We used the same lawyer to represent us without having to appear in court and both of us received reduced sentences.

Was the ticket you received stated mandatory court appearance? Or did you plead not guilty.

Would you be able to forward me the lawyer's information? Thanks!

My wife was just done 30 over and has a mandatory court sentence so I am also interested in what her options may be...

    Sorry for that.
And for this - "My wife was just done 30 over" - things could be smoof next time.
"mandatory court sentence" already? Sh*T stuff happens fast in Colorado. I thought
Colorado was more laid back than that.

Seriously though, good fortune - hope she can get a deal to a lesser.
