well if I had read this before I would have made a pit-stop on my way down from Daytona. Came through the area this morning. :)

Had a good race on Friday and a good heat race on Sat morning but 5min to the end of the race the engine acted up again losing power. Nursed it through the start finish line in 5th overall and frist in class. Then I ****ed up in the enduro and went off course in turn 6, and missed my breakpoint in turn 8 at the bus-stop and flatspotted a new set of tires. :)

Lots of track time this weekend. Daytona is such a great track. Oh I love it! Whoever has a chance of driving there, do it. Highspeed, lots of late apexes and just overall a great track. Driving in the banking is a thrill in Daytona.

    :)

    Glad to see everyone today.
Dave, nice to meet you and great job on the pics and license plates!
Ron, you are absolutely right, I did scare the heck out of Elaine on Altantic.
A little antsy wanting to catch up but too much traffic most of the trip. Sorry to hear about your car. We need to make sure we get your cell phone number as Elaine and I kept saying that we couldn't see you, I should have pulled over.
Andy, thanks so much for the opportunity to take "the ride". Fabulous car, totally different from the NSX. "You always remember your first time".
Scottie, Fred, Todd, always a pleasure. Oh and Scottie was that you or Prada driving?
    Hopefully some pics soon.

Scotty brings the sanity? We're in real trouble now!

Overpasses are just SO much fun. Wait until we get Robert out with his new NGT exhaust, it's going to start sounding like a challenge race everywhere we go!

More importantly, how come I look so white - am I really that pasty? It looks like a white man riding a chicken! I'm lucky that I didn;t get a ticket for poultry abuse. And whats with my "poses?" Do I really walk around staring at the ground all the time, and what the heck was I doing with my shorts in the picture from the parking lot? Perhaps, it is true - as Stacie often points out - that I am simply incapable of taking a "normal" picture.

    Scottie,
Don't forget that you have been cooped up all winter long so you are bound to be white as a ghost or whiter! Now that it's warming up keep the shorts on and the top open in the MAXI, the sun will fix you right up!
We know that you were (should I use the term) "policing" the area looking for nails, screws, and broken glass so that no one would get a flat tire, we all appreciated that! As far as the shorts well maybe you were just making an adjustment for "big jake" but we really don't need to know about that.
And remember "normal" as "beauty" is in the eye of the beholder.
    Glad you were there!

    Bill

    Thanks Utkarsh!!!

I spent 10 hours detailing it w/ Andy & his car when I got it, including the engine bay & taking off the wheels to detail the brakes & suspension & to polish each wheel front & back.

I've been driving it a lot, so it's almost time to do it again!!! :)
