Joe, thanks for the link. Since we'd like the meet to continue, it would be prudent for the attendees to have their expectations set much like the rules at Supercar Sunday and Crystal Cove.

That said, for those of you who have cross posted the meet on other boards (hopefully you've exercised good judgement), please be sure to emphasize the spirit of the meet. I'd say "apply common sense" but in this day and age, that means nothing. So, echoing Aaron's sentiments in bullet form:
  • every group is self-policing, please respect the location, other attendees, and the law
  • it is a residential neighborhood, and it is early in the morning;
    this means no racing, no burnouts, no peelouts, no revving, no showboating, no nothing. Parking is OK.
Instead,
  • take pictures, show off that engine bay, share dynojet numbers with your fellow enthusiast,
    exchange phone numbers and e-mail addresses, make new friends

If you absolutely have to share the experience of your new headers, mufflers, chip, turbo upgrade, etc. please take it away from the meeting location, observing the rules above while you're in the vicinity of Santana Row. Head out to the highway which is literally a minute away where you are free to exercise your poor judgement at your own risk of being prosecuted by the law. Don't spoil it for the rest of us.

(please add the above to your cross-posts on other sites)
