599 Tour of North America

It's a proving test, to show the car can GO 20K miles without bursting into flames....no doubt that's easier to do in places where the locals are not potential customers, but are occupied growing lettuce..... and things like that.

I was gonna buy the used car, cuz' it's a raised suspension with skid pan protection......I could herd the cows around the pasture......

 

I got a invite for a private lunch and meet in greet in Houston.

I think it's a matter of who you know and are. It's not a gerneral public event.

Actually the letter that Case IH sent us only references local media not
being allowed. They have an official photographer that will take group
photos and provide us with a disc of the photos at a later date. There
is no mention of personal photos.

 

They are coming to Vegas on Thurs morning, I will be there...Any specific pics anybody wants?

 

LOL... I don't know if this is supposed to be secret or what, but The tour will be in Rockdale Texas this Monday, Oct. 30th at about 10:30AM. A small part will have the cars on display for the townspeople and the rest is for the FCA members and Alcoa workers only. I will be there for the entire event and will have hundreds of photos to share when I get back.

Notice how the Austin/Rockdale Alcoa event isn't there.....and the FoH event is 10/31, per our most wise chatter "my_adidas"??????????????

The Houston area FFQC attendees could fall in and show them the way....that'd be cool....

 

Never mind...arrive 10/30....depart 11/1.....that's how they drop by Austin....Rockdale is more towards the coast, IIRC.

 

Well, either my invite is BS, or that schedule posted above isn't correct. We'll see on Monday when I go to Rockdale....

 

It's in Rockdale. Rockdale is just 43 miles east of Round Rock.

 

Yea, that reconciles all the rumors, into FoH for service Sunday, over to Alcoa next day, My_adidas has entertainment/lunch on 10/31 and a departure for the Big Easy 11/1..

Easy enough if you can run like an F40! LOL!
