Thanks for posting! Please do share some pictures, and more details. How do your Rolex cars compare to Challenge cars? Is the aero similar to 430GT? It looks like you're running 18" tires and iron brakes. Are the engines modified? Air restrictors? Really great cars!! Mark
The car is based on a challenge car. We can replace the shocks and we use the 360 gt hubs and brakes with 5 bolts. We are aloud to use the sequential gearbox unstead of the F1 . We will put the Sequential gearbox on for the homestead race at the end of March . here some action's pics. i will post more soon ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did any notice the lack of the F word on the Speed broadcast? A Ferrari would drive by, and the announcer would call it "another GT car". In fact, one announcer called it the Porsche 430. I think throughout the entire broadcast they mentioned Ferrari no more than 10 times.
The tv coverage was the worst for the Gt cars. This was due because all the Nascar celebrities in the Dp. That's not good!!!
Agreed. The GT coverage could've, should've been better. BTW what sequential box are you guys going to run? Darrell.
The gearbox is going to be a Hewland Here some pictures from my camera From the accident on the first practice session to the finish line. enjoy Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats. I was in your pit before the race start and was very impressed with the car build and prep work. Really great team effort. Did you start on drys or wets? I was trying to make the same decision and had I done so would probably have gone with wets in order to be able to dodge the traffic at the start when the tires were cold. Assuming that if the rain held off I could always pit for drys as 24 hours is a long long time?
we've started on dry tires, beside turn 6 and the bus stop chicane the rest of the track even when wet was offering a decent grip
Ok guys ; i have the opportunity to display your Fcars at the entrance of the Homeshow that will be in Costa mesa Feb 8-9-10 I will bring the 430!!!!!!!!! Good call on your part. We would have been afraid that if the rain came down as opposed to the spitting stuff that we actually saw, we could have retained some avoidance grip. Anyway always a difficult call and I think you made the right one. Its still beyond me how fast that winning RX8 turned out to be - in effect the same difference we experienced in the Koni where the Acuras and Cobalts in ST could haul in the BMWs in GS on the banking.
