It's hard to believe that an Authorized Lamborghini Dealer (Lambo of Ohio) would do this.

Are there any stories with the Rosso CS at Beverly Hills Classic? They have 3, 1 black, 1 yellow (both without stripes) and one rosso with the stripe. For that matter are there any relatively low mileage CS's without a disappointing history?

My CS is not for sale and I have a waiting list of friends to call long before my car would ever go up for sale in a public forum.

Like most great companies, great cars are usually never publicly "for sale". That doesn't mean that they don't change ownership...... ;)

i have been following this thread with great interest. are we expecting more stories to come out?

is the consensus that you can likely only purchase a clean CS via a private sale with a 'known' buyer?

    keep the stories coming please!

No absolutes other than a solid (reasonable miles, no stories, complete history, etc.) and reasonably priced Challenge Stradale will find a home quickly. My local dealer has a waiting list and has brokered a half-dozen CS sales in the past 24 months with the cars never hitting the showroom. I was on that list 30 months ago.....

............139036 titanio grigio on black alcantara w/o stripe has front, rear bumper and rockers resprayed by premier. It was done right after purchase at 2900 miles. Dont think there's anything there's else wrong with the car. Eugenio pointed out that tires indicate that the car has been tracked. I wonder how this affects resale value? Does anyone have more info on this car?

    -Peter

PS Its my car by the way.
PPS Probably wont ever sell it.

Thats strange an authorized dealer (FOW) would sell that CS to another dealer instead of retailing it. If you were going to have any inventory I would think a no story CS would be one you would want. I guess this is just a bad area to sell exotics.

Car could have been on consignment and or BHCC made the owner/dealer a realistic offer. Really not uncommon for brokers and dealers to work with one another.

Spoke to BHCC this week they quoted me $225K on the "FOW" car when it gets in. I thought that $$$ figure was high, but then again A. Cohen said they sold the yellow Stradale for $230K (BTW: F of OC would let it go for $197K when they had it last month). Who would have known that the could get more than an authorized dealer.
