Just to say hello to my neighbours here. This car is kept in the parking for most of the time.

To my knowledge, there are a few more koenigs in HK, mostly 328s. Those 328 are just too beautiful to mention. I also came across a widebody BB512, can't tell if its a Koenig as it got some Koenig features but not all. Fully restored, dark blue with a fresh interior, smells all new. was sold back in 2001, ever since I have not met this car. I missed it.

No, mine makes about 500 hp now w motronic kit on it

The speed comes from the lack of weight

My race car weighs high 2700, I plan on upgrading to a full carbon body

I also have a spare engine that I will have a race engine builder do. That should have maybe 650 hp

I dont go crazy on hp bcus at 500 hp my car is already eating transmissions

I had Bob Wallace build me a custom race trans that was expensive but hopefully it will stop the car from destroying transmissions

You must be talking about the BB512 that used to belong to one of the Ma brothers - it did indeed have a koenig kit (pic attached, I stole this pic from a fellow fchatter iirc).
Anyway I love your car mate, please let me know next time you bring it out for a morning drive or something, would love to take a good look at it in person if you don't mind! Cheers.

Wow, i need to say thank you a million times for this pic. I have been looking for this car since 2001. It was priced at 495K at Italian Motors when they still have their showroom at the old airport. I took a very careful look at the car and this was one of the most remarkable BB I have ever seen. All I can say is this BB is flawless, completely restored to original factory standards. It has been there for a short while before it was sold to someone who admired it. I bought a Mondial on that occassion.

I don't do much morning drives now as this event is being monitored so closely by the cops since the last incident. But I will definitely join again. I will keep the car as one of my collection and will let you know prior to bringing it out.

BTW, if feasible, could you show more pics of this BB? Thanks in advance.

I remember when the car was still at the old airport with IM too. If i remember correctly it was actually for sale for a very long time before someone bought it. 495k is such a bargain for that car, I would buy it in a second if such opportunity arise again. In fact, the car used to be Red, I have seen it up close a couple of times before back then but unfortunately no pics.

Testarossa is a very nice car. Too bad, this car does not have much presence at the track. You demonstrated to us that this car is also meant for tracks. Great effort!

Most of the earlier Ferraris are gone. I came across a parking where there were 2 red 308s and more importantly, a Dino 308GT4 in dark blue. All 3 cars got flat tires, tones of dirt and dust on it. These 3 cars are still sitting the way it was 8 years ago. I pity them and I call that parking "The cemetery of lost F's"

Thanks, she surprises the H out of Challenge cars, I can blow past most of them, 430s are more challenging

Now w my new suspension I should be able to make up a little time on the 430s :)

Sorry for my absence, I was totally tied up lately

Testarossa and 430 on the track, we are talking about 15+ years of technologies. Its easier to keep up with the 355,360. It is truly challenging for 430s.

If he's correct with the sizes the front tires have a side wall height of 94mm (3.4in) and the rears have a height of 85.5mm (3.3in). If the rears are 35 profile then their height would be 99.8mm (3.9in).

    I suspect they're probably 35 profile.

Nice car. You should think about going wide-body like the Hubster and me(the blue car next to yellow Gallardo in William's pics). It has an amazing road presence. Wouldn't trade it for the new front engine 12cyl layouts...

Wow, beautiful cars. Any chance we can get the serial numbers of the two Koenigs mentioned in this thread...? The blue one is exceptional.

I don't think OZ Futuras were ever made in 19s, only 17s and 18s AFAIK. Try looking at Hamann's OZ ... oops their website no longer includes 512TR

I once thought of buying them from Hamann. To my best knowledge, the ones Hamann offer were the OZ Pegasus, not the Futuras. Anyway, both are good. I don't know if Hamann still have them. I tried to look for something similar locally, but got no luck.
