    Agree.

Secondly Harve De Grass (LOL) is way too far North for those of us in NOVA. We might be able to make it to somewhere just North of the Loop here in DC, but I think the Donut already fills that role. I need to make it out there.

This would be great for me. I've only been to one C&C, and very much enjoyed it. But it was quite a haul to get there from my location in MD. And I'm not even that far south.

But no matter where you pick, it won't be close for everyone. Maybe a good compromise would be to stay at the current location, but every 2 or 4 weeks or such, move it to an alternate more southern location...

    My $0.02.

I agree that the drives are quite extreme to make consistently. I live south of Northeast Md and the C&C in Dilworthtown is well over an hour. We leave before light most weekends except in the summer. What I have done is find a back route through some radical twisties and really enjoy the drive up.
Curtis and Don come up pretty regularly. I am always willing to meet people around the Susquehanna River and share a good hour and a half of fun spirited roads on the way up if any of the Southern group would like to meet.
Give me a shout if anyone is interested.

Having been involved in various online communities for the last 18 years, I can say the difference when certain users are removed is noticeable. It's strange to think that a handful of successful 40something year olds with wives, kids, money, and businesses to run still find the time to get online and act like morons. If it was my board, a zero tolerance policy would be in effect, with perma-bans issued without warning. People know when they're being dicks, and from my experience many years ago as a 15 year old internet hooligan, they do so intentionally. If people want drama, they're free to sign up on Myspace.

Marvelous. Fortunately, sir, it is not your board. Many years ago? indeed!

Hey Robin, any interest in doing the Gibson Island thing again?
Maybe just a lunch in lieu of an overnight event.

Did you ever replace the 355?

Visit us sometime - you should be able to find us.
It'd be good to see and hear from you again.

That's why kinder/gentler folks like Rob and myself are here. :D

Now, back on topic. I'd like us to find some spot where maybe once or twice a summer we could all hang out for a couple hours, North, South and West (who needs those Jersey guys) and tell Ferrari lies.

At some point we'll figure it out.

Heretofore, I believe all C&C's should be held right next door to me. Oh wait, they already are... :) :) :)

Just try and change locations and I am going to get all Chuck Norris in your business

I had to read that post twice before I figured out it didn't need any moderating. :D
