    Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale sending two pretty new 430s to wholesale? I guess its not 2008 anymore huh? I remember when these guys wouldn't even look at an offer for a two year old car that wasn't over original MSRP. I just love the turnaround!!

    For almost two years guys have been dropping off their cars & keys at the dealerships in Scottsdale (Porsche, Ferrari, Aston, Mercedes, etc.). Are you going to try to make the payment on your car(s), home(s) or office? The car(s) usually go first.

    It won’t let me link to the exact listing, but do a search on cars.com for 2005 430’s and check out the red/tan spider. There has to be more to the story as that is a VERY low price for a 430 spider with all these options (Daytona’s, CF packages, F1, CCB's, shields, red/tan) Anyone know the story?

    Auction cars fellas.... Relax ;)

    Good place to buy IF you can and have the resources to (most don't). Go to every auction... Wait a life time for a car you would want... Hoping there isn't another bidder there that also wants that car..... And if you did get that lucky.. Found the car... The price would be more just because you are there bidding on it....

    Needle in a hay stack... But it could happen of course!

    After all. I just clicked a totally random lambo YouTube vid and there pops up MY 430 so anything can happen! But you must be ready for it when it does.

    I was there today and there were plenty of CLEAN 430s to be had at below the prices I posted above. No takers to speak of. A 2008 coupe with 12k on it sold for $133k after it only bid to $125k . Don't feel bad Bentleys were even uglier..

    These prices make me think 360 spider! I'd have to sell my coupe first but it sure is tempting.

    Only problem with gettin everybody either excited or feeling ill is look at the average mileage and CONDITIOn Who wants an AVERAGE Ferrari. Shiny is nice but we all know the 10 you think your saving can be dropped in 1 little visit to the shop. I still dont think any dealer who is established is dumping clean sweet cars at Manheim..Now having said that if I could get Eugenio or Guiseppe to spend an afternoon with the car before i bid Now im thinking deal Ive come across a few auction cars when I was looking for my spider and then spent 1200 on 2 cars havin a PPI done, BOTh had repair estimated over $ 7000.00 to bring to current specs. I can assume most of us on this board are over the age of 16 and one thing ive learned whenever I have focussed on PRICE VS Quality it always come back to bite me.. be it cars , stocks, or women their is no free lunch.. Sorry for preaching but I can feel the non-owners blood pressure rise at the possible reality of turnin that key and hearing those test pipes roar for little money.. We all pay some where along the line. Pay now or later your choice. Ferrari in my mind bad place to look for a steal.

    All this thread points out is that, overall, the demand for Ferrari's and all late model sports cars in general is way down. That decrease in demand has a direct influence on price/values.

    could it be that these cars have had some sort of history behind them (paint, accident) and the dealer does not want to retail it out to his customers. we should know all the facts before jumping to conclusion

    Just wait 'til winter, I think we will see even a more precipitous drop in 430 (and Scud) pricing 5-8 months down the road...

    Good for prospective buyers, bad for owners thinking of selling later this year.

    Private party is the preferred way to buy. Doesn't hurt to come armed with auction wholesale numbers though. Take your time and do your homework.
