Just thought I would share a picture and the results of our trip to Bonneville last week. We managed to set a new record for our class at over 275 mph. Which I think makes this the worlds fastest basically stock bodied car.

I've ridden shot gun at 217 and that was fast. I honestly can't even imagine what 275 must be like. Congratulations! Any chance you'll tell me the serial number of the fastest Ferrari in the world?

The car has original 288 body panels on a streched 308 frame 540 big block Chev 2000+ hp Dart heads Twin 96 mm turbos Custom intercooler with stainless tank in front Motec engine management B&J four speed with CO2 shifting Custom Overdrive gears back into Ford ring and pinion turned upside down Dual fire systems High and low speed chutes Micky Thompson Bonneville experimental tires (tested at 600 mph) Rear spoiler and ground effects, 500 lbs lead in nose In car cameras (video coming soon to a theater near you) The car was originally built by Bob Norwood and has held the record in the past with a different engine.
