"delivery miles" car {2-300 miles} Red/Blk top Alcantara racing chairs, red brakes, yellow guage, sewing, carbon kit, nav, etc... Warranty good for 1.5-2 years... no stories, no paint... what's the check writer price...??? This isn't "my sort of a car...." I see ads for 300+ all day long, obviously, theese don't seem to sell otherwise the same cars wouldn't be for sale for months on end...right? I've been asked to swallow one in trade and just want to liquidate the car... 275K...less??? what have others stroked checks for these things for in the last 45-60 days? I need a value to tag the car at in the trade...I'm hearing numbers all over the map...100k differential... Thanks....
Since some are listed at 285k retail right now I would guess if you are a dealer and need to have a small profit built in you would need to buy in the 260's to be comfortable to have a quick sale in the 270's.
Nope, not a dlr...I run a couple of collections, and am always getting cars offered to buy sell or trade... This 16M is just a car as far as I'm concerned..outside of "supercars"...a "new" Ferrari for me was made in 1967....and, most are comp cars as well. This is completely outsicde my realm of activity... Thanks for the feed back though...
IMO the 16m is a special Ferrari and will hold a fairly strong value. Miles is a big factor though. The cars will stabilize in the $250-275k area come April. The big influx on 16M's on the market now is due to owners having their 458's arrive. The customers that got 16M's were the dealerships "stronger clients", and because of that, they are also getting the early allocation orders for the 458. I do believe come Springtime with no 458 Spider due for another year, that you will see previous 16m owners buying another 16M off the used market. The 16m is still the "king of Convertibles" with a limited amount of production units{I will let you guys argue about the numbers}. The 430 was a very successful production run, and the 16M is a very special 430. Another thing that will aid the resale value is that when the 458 Spider does finally arrive, the MSRP well over $300K and there will be a premium over MSRP for probably around a year.
Less. There are 7 for sale in FML some of them for a long time. There are 18 Scuds for sale. Wholesale IMO 16M 230K/ Scuds 170K. Both of those will be lower soon. Could U pls. pm me the story on 08067 if U can. Best
I changed them 8 times in my TR which I drove for 155K miles. I do like engine out services as they give you the chance to really inspect things and fix what needs fixing.
I'm still not following why this is such a big deal? Change the timing belts when they need changing. So what?
I guess if you have the money and time what the hell go for it , I rather keep my money in my pocket and not someones elses.
So the yearly service on the Scud is less than my Stradale? I've found the service cost has a lot more to do with the price the dealer or tech charges than it does the type of car the service is being performed on. How long does it take to do the belts? I drop the car off and the dealer does it. I just had my yearly service done. I took a day. What's the big deal?
you could buy a TON of timing belts with the dollars you save from not owning the Scud as a depreciating asset....
I wasn't going to say it Joe but since you just did....... I love the Scud and would love to own one. But all the money they've lost would pay for 100 timing belt changes on my CS.
Huh? How much do you think a proper CS belt change cost? Sure, you could slap some belts on without any of the other essentials (seals, pulleys, cam indexing) and it'll still cost you $1500, but a proper one will run you $3500+. The math... 100 x 3500 = $350,000.
I think it is fair to say CS owners don't mind changing timing belt but doesn't mean that they like to spend $$$ to change timing belt. It is very personal that someone really love the CS but someone prefer Scuderia; however I don't think the reason of like and unlike is the "timing belt". I am also waiting for the 16M to come down close to 200K to swap my F430 Sipder.
I'm in too on a less expensive 16m, but think it may be some time 2-2 years b4 we see $200 to sub 200 16 m's. $225 optioned the way I want I would be in!
i thought 458 owers should comment on there own site, why you think your 458 won,t depreciate give it a year, so did you put on a exhaust system because you can,t tell if a 458 is running or not ???
