Personally I like the looks of the Miura better, but the XKSS....One of 16 built! It makes it that much more special when you see one.

Agreed on both points. Not to say Miuras are exactly dime-a-dozen or anything.

I didnt take as many as i'd have liked this time. I took more time walking around with my dad who came to visit.

 

I enjoyed seeing a Lambo with Ohio plates from the same county I used to live in.

Sorry to bump this thread but I'm finally getting some time to upload some pics from the January C&C and was wanting to know if anyone knew the history behind that XKSS. Is that the one Steve McQueen used to own? I was reading on http://www.coventryracers.com/ that he had changed his interior from red to black, and it was sold at Barrett Jackson in 2003, so perhaps the new owner changed it if it stayed in AZ.

I know the one that Steve McQueen owned was in the Peterson Museum last year when I visited in April. I'm not sure if it was there for good or if it was just part of an exhibit.

The XKSS that was at C&C is definately not Steve McQueens old car. Although Steve's car has been in the valley a couple of times, it has not been to C&C. The XKSS that was at C&C has been locally owned for about ~10+ years.
