Didnt know wether to post these results or not but here goes. My 355 spider along with the F430 was dynoed two days ago. The figures are at the wheels. The rear wheel figure was 328bhp. The spec of the car is a 1995 2.7 Motronic with 42+ miles on the clock. With a Hamonn chip and a De-Cat Capristo level one with K&Ns. The Rolling road operator was inpresed by the mapping of the chip No doubt alot of you will disagree becourse thats what some do. I am posting this becourse i know there are alot who dont dyno there 355s becourse they are in fear of the results. So here they are. Quite impresive i think for a 10 year old so called high milage ferrari. Leave it with ya I shall post the videos once i have been arsed to download them. With a 15% drive train lose that would put you at about 386hp. By the way I like the chrome front grill.
Cheers for posting mate. Your 355 dyno sheets makes my 348 dyno sheets look like total crap. My 348 pushed a 241.2Hp stock and 249.5Hp with the exhaust removed, both figures at the wheels. Cheers again.
Just for your entertainment if you want to compare a U.S. F355 with Tubi, NAPerformance Exh. Manifolds, and K&N Filters. This car is also 95 2.7. Interesting to compare the curves. Same dyno also Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for posting that, its good to compare the two speaks of the cars I would love to see the 355 twin turbo Dyno sheet Would you tell us what the mileage of your car was please. I am interested becourse there is so many storys about high milage cars. And as i said mine is 42k. This does show how good the engines are and that they dont realy loose much power over the years.
The car had about 18K on it at the time. (It now has 21120 as of 15 minutes ago ) and is probably running better now than when dynoed as I have fixed a few little issues with fuel leaks and have fresh gas in the tank. The dyno run was done with gas at least 3 months old - I don't know if that would have much of an impact on the numbers. Dave
Of course, the F355's are dyno'ing very close to the 360's we have had dyno'd lately. It makes me think a little bit that the F355's were under-rated but the 360's are right about 15% drivetrain loss. Regardless I think we all know in this thread that the F355 is the best Ferrari ever made. By the way the car a dyno for was lusso64's so he answered the question regarding the mileage of the car.
The results look good to me mate, still think you need more power for when we run at the pod though. Andy.
All the high mile cars dyno higher from what Ive seen. It goes to show you that these cars love to be driven. The F355 and 360 have very similar engines so id expect to see power in a similar window.
