Have made a little research how 599 GTB market is going in US. Was just interested to compare with German. Have seen many threads where was cars for sale asking much more above $500k. So have found well loaded cars at DUPONTREGISTRY with asking price $475k. So market price of 599 GTB has beginned his way down is US. In Germany premiums are staying stable with 50000-70000 EUR for imidiate delivery car.

Sure, premia will go down as more and more cars are being sold. IMHO it would be rather naive to assume that the current situation will last forever. Personally, I will drive my 599 for 24-36 months and expect to sell it (German market) with a depreciation in the 25-35 percent range. Having said that, such depreciation would still be much lower than the depreciation for other high-performance cars. Anybody too much focused on premia and resale values might IMHO consider changing their mind set. These cars should be fun to drive not fun to "invest" in...

Absolutely correct. As with every Ferrari hot new car situation with 599 GTB will be the same. 50000-70000 EUR premium for first and second year and 20000-35000 EUR premium for used and well keeped, clean history cars. Then premiums will slowly go down, used cars with high mileage will go for 20000-25000 below list price in end 2008. Situation when 9000 km 2006 poorly optioned 599 GTB was sold in August by my familiar exotic dealership in Germany for 243900 EUR NETTO, which means premium for 40000 EUR netto above list price, is absurd. 599 GTB is just production car, not limited series hypercar as ENZO. Only thing which can keep premiums high is very limited supply. I have heard rumors that 599 GTB supply in 2008 will be lower than it is this year. This means that premiums CAN stay high if demand on this car will be as high as this year. And it is necessary to say that many independent dealers sale cars not in Germany but to whole world. So premiums are oriented not to German buyers but for export sales. I have purchased all my cars in Germany, so I know this topic very well.

FINALLY! They better go down even more. The premium is just ridiculous.

Under $500k applies only to used ones .
Example: not a loaded red/tan with 1200mile just sold for $489k at LFSC.
Just after they agreed on price someone offered $500k.
