Hi My 430 spider has launch control, I have tried the sequence, traction off... foot on the brake, L.C. - but... nothing, no flashing L on the dash. Called ferrari, who told me if I use it I'll get about 5 - 10 starts then its new clutch time! 1. anyone know what im doing wrong? 2. can they be serious? Why would they build a feature u can use 5 times before a truck's picking your car up ?!
They are very serious. The only reason they put in IMO is to get lower 0-60 numbers for Mag Racers. In addition to frying the clutch you should probably wear a Scott Air Pack as you really don't want to be breathing burning clutch even if it's only 5 times.
