    Not surprised that CS is leading the pole - CS brotherhood is strong. CS is now a great classic car. The CCB and F1 at the time were cutting edge. Now the F1 is agricultural. When the 599 was released the CS was reduced to a slow noisy bumpy jerky but engaging car. The gap between the 430S and the CS is massive because of advances in electronics most importantly and also aero. Hard to believe that a 430S is in the same league performance wise as an Enzo. And it is that purity of function that makes the 430S number 1 on my list. BTW I still might buy a CS at some point for my collection because it is hardcore even though I will have a 430S soon. Flame suit on. :):):)

    There is little doubt that the Scud drives better than the CS, afterall, it is a generation ahead, but we are talking about "best looking".

    I'm going to have to go with the 430 Scuderia. It's just jaw dropping, it's beautiful. Then I have to say 348 but since that's not an option I'll go with the 355.

    i would love so much to find a pozzi strad... w no stripe but it doesnt exist i think so Nero gets the job done of perfecting the lines

    360 is the best, IMHO, esp with CH grille fitted. I love the looks of the CS, but it is a tad fussy in some of its detail (for eg. the front air intakes and the undertray). 360 is the more simple shape, and therefore more pure. 360 and CS are much better looking than 430.

    For me the looks follow the function. The FXX derived aero on the 430S is just killer good looking in addition to contributing to the performance. That is the point I tried (and failed) to make!

    I understand what you're saying, but if that attitude prevailed among Fwannabees they'd be well advised to buy a Nissan GTR. The GTR outperforms a Porsche 997 twin turbo on just about every count. Taking 3.2 seconds to reach 60mph and 11.6 to reach quarter mile, it just might outperform the 430S as well. Oh, and there's that little detail related to cost-effectiveness of the funcitonality of the GTR; it achieves its performance for 25cents on the dollar compared to the 430S.

    For now, i vote for the 360CS BUT that could change because i have always believe that late Ferraris ARE NOT PHOTOGENIC and i have yet to see a 430 Scuderia IRL. And i prefer the looks of the F430 over the 360 so i really dont know.

    But i still consider the 360CS as not only the best looking Ferrari but the best looking car out there. I love it.

    Perhaps the looks of the 430S will grow on me but right now, I think it's kinda ugly. The new wheels aren't as nice as the CS wheels, the new F1 font used on the logo and the gauges look cheesy, rear challenge grills don't look right on the 430 whereas the 360 looks funny without them...

    I've seen the 430S in person and it looks like it's trying hard to be "boy racer" whereas the CS looks beautiful and classy.

    That's what I thought too when I had a 360 and having seen the CS only in photos, until I saw an actual CS at a dealer. It was aggressive yet still very beautiful. What a wonderful combination! When I walked back to my 360, I was surprised that it instantly looked too soft.

    Although you are right about the additional diffuser at the rear not being perfectly integrated aesthetically, to me it is only a slight negative and the CS is still a masterful design.

    I have a GTR V Spec on order. Should get it in October. But I will not be cancelling my 430S. GTR is fun in a muscle car sort of way but lacks the refinement of the 430S. To repeat, the 430S tops my choice as the best looking because its' beauty is derived from the purity of its' focus on performance e.g. the FXX derived vents, 430C exhausts, etc. These are not decorations - they serve a very real purpose

    Interesting comments. I have exactly the opposite impression. I think it is the 430S that is beautiful and classy. Funny how 2 people can perceive things so differently
