I have just aquired a 1990 non-cat Testarossa. Can anyone recommend a sports exhaust that gives the wonderful flat 12 sound?

Stevef has a FUCH's and it is absolutely awesome, it's deafening :D I have not heard a Tubi but it can't be any better than a FUCH's (sorry Wolfie)

I have a 1990 non cat too, I think all European models are non cat, I'm still saving up for my Exhaust, can't afford a Tubi :D

I have heard a FUCH's, Tubi and Carpisto exhaust for the Testa. In my personal opinion the Tubi sounds the all-round best. Its quiet when cruising round at low speeds and then also has the added bonus of being ear piercing at higher revs. The car that I heard also had the cats removed.

There is a clip of it under: FERRARI 512 TR

Have a listen to that......!!! :-0

The TUBI for the Testarossa gives off a loud but very hollow sound. The FUCHS is also loud but only a bit hollow sounding. For a loud full bodied typical 80's Ferrari sound I recommend a custom exhaust from www.stainless-exhaust.com (in the UK) It's half the price of a TUBI and in a different class. I've had one fitted to my 512TR at VERDI FERRARI just last week. Karl Verdi was very sceptical of Stainless-Exhaust at first (he distributes TUBI and CAPRISTO in the UK). My father spoke to him only days after it was installed and the first thing Karl said was "THAT EXHAUST SOUNDS AWESOME ASH". Oh yes, and you will also gain the usual HP/TORQUE increase expected from an aftermarket exhaust. Also you can choose the size of the tailpipes as well. I went with 3" ones to get maximum airflow and HP. Now you don't get that with Tubi do you.

I have been behind Wolfie's beast going through tunnels in the Swiss alps and can confirm that it sounds fantastic. Scares the living turd out of you, but sounds great.
