Hello Ferrari-enthousiastics, My name is Olaf and as you can see, reading my nickname, I'm not a Ferrari owner (driver). Instead of 12, my car only has 6 cilinders. On the dutch Porscheforum.nl the idea was born to organize an event for Ferrari's and Porsche's. The question is, prior to organize it, if there are enough Ferrari (and Porsche) owners who'd like to attend such a meeting. It would not be very nice if there is only one Ferrari amongst 20 Porsche's (or the other way around) Time/Date :? somewhere in June ... Olaf -awaitingreplies-
Olaf, I have taken the liberty to reopen this thread. Welcome to Fchat! I really like the idea of a combined meeting. I am also very curious to see the reactions. Ton
I just traded in a 2003 Boxster 2.7 with 14.000 km. Fully loaded, black on black, 5 gears, 18" Cup wheels, Pioneer DVD, etc... Very nice car, took it out for a short spin and really was excited about its qualities. Good sound also. @ Olaf: Do you think to get this organized somewhere at the Belgium - Holland border area? Joren REMANS
Sell it to Wolfgang!! @Olaf, I agree on Joren. Organize it at the borders somewhere and expect much more people to come. International events are always more visited.
pssst.....our moderators are well worth our money, hard job they do! now i'm running away before i get beaten up badly...
Sold already to a customer here. I have the impression that Porsches are bigger money making machines then Mercedes's....
I think we're looking at a Dutch-border area near Belgium/Germany, this to get some more Ferrari's than only the 8 active owners from Holland here on Fchat It's a shame that my first opening was terminated - unfortunately I've seen the same happening on the Porscheforum We're all human Later! Olaf
@Olaf, take it easy buddy We are all working on and with computers but we are still human beeings! ...with faults, errors and many bugs thats just wonderful
Sounds good to me too!! German/Belgium/Dutch border sounds very good to me. Ton and I will have a "home" drive If it is organised in june please avoid the weekend of 18 june. Allready a "not comfirmed yet" Ferrari event planned on that date.
Uhhh??? I don't understand this thread...why did you ask a question, call yourself Olaf and then immediatley answer your own question Ton? I think Ton is going mad
@ Simon -> Topic was started by me in Dutch instead of English which created al lot of non-topic related comments ... Ton took the liberty to clean up this topic and copied my translation to the top (instead of just changing it) So far 13 participants (depending on date and location) from the P-side
@Olaf, Like you see it is a real european forum here. If the meeting is good organised you will see there will show up several F owners from all over europe. That's how we do it here.
btw: if you organize a party with drinks & food with it, I am sure it is even gonna be crowded with Fchat people
Don't worry about the organisation - most organized PF events over the last couple of months had over 50 cars .... and about 100 people having lunch on those days. Most important is that we'll get a reasonable idea about the amount of attendees .. PF counts 20 enthousiastic drivers w/ cars (eventhough there is no date/place set) at this time. F-chat at this time: 1. Remans 2. Dino 208gt4 3. Flyingboa and number 4. Bernd and 5. Ton Visser are likely to attend - either in a P or F
If it is held in "limburg" 2 friends of mine will be interested too. They drive a red Ferrari 308 and a white Ferrari 328.
Count me " 308GTB " in for the P / F meeting, for me avoid 18 / 19 june because of the Italia Zandvoort meeting.Regards 308ROB
