Remember this black TR with Simmons wheels for $100K on ebay, with no reserve. I thought it was very very cheap. Now...its on Carpoint for $139K. It did not have any bids on it when it was on ebay. I know they are different. If i meant the 512TR, i would have just typed 512. I just couldnt have been bothered typing Testarossa for this black Testarossa. TR is close enough. I love them both, but the 512 wheels make the car 10 years newer. Well, it kind of is. Just like painting/colour coding the lower panel on the 348 and adding the 355/512 wheels to them. Makes them look alot better IMO.

Hi Pap, That morning photo makes me think you'd just gone for an early morning splat. I guess it is fairly cool this time of year. Wondering if the road to Camooweal has been upgraded yet - to let you get into NT easily. Last time I drove through was nearly two years ago and the road was terrible. The worst bit of main road in the whole trip (right around) - not in 328, BTW. regards, Pete
Hello Pete. That photo was actually taken late afternoon. The early mornings are chilly alright. That pic was also taken out on the Cloncurry road. They have spent alot of money fixing that road. It is really good now and has alot of 2 lane(overtaking lanes) that run for a few km's. Very nice sweeping/hilly bends ect..... Would be a great run to take the 348 on, although the police always patrol from Cloncurry to Mount Isa everyday. They also have police speed camera vans present at different locations there nearly everyday. I heard last night, my mate was caught doing 200km/h out there, in the 60km/h zone. They found him the next day up town and took him straight to the lockup and he has a court hearing soon. Ill have to get back to you about the Camooweal road.......Im pretty sure its still dangerous. My friend just came back from the Fink Desert Race, so he should know what the road is like on the way to the Alice. Ill ask him tomorrow night at work and let you know. It was voted the worst road in Australia a few times in think by the RACQ magazine.
