This event was put on friday night by Beechmont motors , which also coinsided with the Blue Ash air show - http://www.airportdays.com . An email was sent out and you registered with what car you wanted to test drive, I didn't know at the time that Porsches were also offered . The cars that were offered - Cayenne Turbo, Cayman S , 911 Coupe/Cab , Maserati spider/gran sport/QP/coupe . I picked the silver coupe, since I wanted to try out paddle shifting and I've never driven a Maserati before. The car handled well & fit me like a glove, but the shifts seemed somewhat violent and there was bit of a "lag" when shifting.
I was also luckey enough to win a ride in a 1942 Beech 18 (big silver plane near the runway) . You would think that with a plane that old, the ride wouldn't be that smooth, but it was, much better then any puddle jumper .

Thanks , the TVR has been here for a couple of years, theres also a Tuscan in the area . I think they're either here under "show & display", or registered to a dealer.

Looks like it was fun. Sorry I was unable to make it - spousal business dinner, instead. Didn't realize there was the opportunity to drive other cars - wouldn't have made a difference this time, but that's pretty cool. I would have enjoyed the historic aircraft just as much.
