Smashed a brand new Koenigsegg CCX
Last week i read an articel, where a swedish guy bought a Koenigsegg CCX...
And he was the first in sweden to buy such a car. He had there pleasure of owning it for about 18 ours before he smashed it into a garbage truck. By the way... The cost of the car, in denmark, is about 10 million kr. (1.692.505,- US Dollar) Here is an article from a Danish newssite... http://ekstrabladet.dk/nyheder/samfu...icle235911.ece |

the driver...
The driver schould be okay....
But probably he don´t care about the car.. His garage includes BMW z8, Lamborghini Murciélago, Audi A6 Avant 4.2, BMW M5, Bentley continental gt and Lamborghini Gallardo. |

This Koenigsegg is the same as the one that was "crashed" in Norway a couple of weeks ago. Apparently Koenigsegg grew tired of the norwegian owner giving the factory bad publicity. After refusing free driving lessons at the factory, he crashed the car after a few weeks (although it was more of scratching the car in a sand bank at a track). This incident was at a car show with 10.000 spectators, and it was headlinenews in Norway that same night. A few days later, the owner dared a famous rallydriver from norway to a race. This also was in the news. So, Koenigsegg took the car back from the owner, replaced what was broken, and sold it to the new owner, who as we now know, crashed the car after 18 hours.

It is was not actully brand new... The car he crash was first sold to a man in norway but he desided to streetrace witch it against a famous rallydriver and crash it. Then koenigseggen took it back and sold it to the customer in sweden who crash it 18 hour later.
The cost of the car is €525 000 +taxes |

The driver, a guy in he´s early 30´s is ok. I feel really sorry for him. 800 hp wet road and +10 C with rear wheel drive is a bad combo.
The norwegian owner crashed on a track, film is on youtube btw. Last edited by Jompen; 10-25-2006 at 08:05 AM. |
