Price, the title is "The Sperm and The Egg". You'll see why if you look at it for a moment.

It's a nice piece; what medium is it on and what did you use and how did you render the effects seen in the picture...? I like the bright, neon green in the foreground with the dark colors as a back drop, almost as a shadow for the randomness of the green stuff...

I'm no art critic and won't try to be with your first piece; congratulations, by the way... Does it have a name...?

The medium is , well, um.., window pane. It's done on a 4x4 window with a wooden frame. Picked her up for free at a garage sale :)

Green paint is a water based latex, and the white and black are oil based.

Not quite sure what you mean when you say "effects seen in the picture", it's simply a photograph of the painting, and cropped in Photoshop.

What I meant was how did you "paint" it... With a brush...? Did you squirt the colors from tubes, randomly spraying the window...? Did you "whip" a paint-covered brush at the "canvas" to render the patterns seen on there...?

Oh! My mistake, it was done with handfuls of paint splattered in an unorganized fashion. Very simple really. I thought I would have more control over how much paint was being put onto the glass if i used my hands over a paintbrush. As well, for an abstract such as this, a brush is hardly needed.

BTW, its neat to see what everyone thinks it should be called, goes to show what how everyone sees something different in it.

Pics of construction on the way!

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but it's not a Spin, so I'd guess Pollock.
