    Deal was too good to refuse. It's stock standard now, but I'll be upgrading the wheels, exhaust, interior, etc. All should be done in a few weeks (hopefully) and then I'll have pics ready.

    When I grew up, Ferrari's had side streaks - Testarosa, 348. By the time I grew up and had the $ for exotics, I was buying more recent models, etc. But, as I said, this deal was too good to refuse. The car has had $33,000 of work done on it just 1,200km ago (supported by receipts and the shop that did the work). Aust delivered, PPI was fine, etc. Once I pimp it up, I'll drive it for a few months, get it out of my system and then I'll pass it on.

    Red/black with red stiching.

    To be honest, this buy is pretty dispationate to me. As I said, just something to play around with for a few months to say that I've had this one too.

    Thanks Mark. But I tell ya, the performance is VERY dissapointing. But the more I look at her, the more I like her looks :)

    So what is ownership of a 348 really like? They have rightly or wrongly a reputation for being edgy with exploding gearboxes and poorly finished...jump in whenever you like John.Is the criticism justified or not.I havent driven one and really havent spoken to anybody with one.

    TB/TS/Spider? From previous posts I'd have thought it'd be a spider.

    People have put the 355 side intakes on 348s before - I heard they are largely interchangeable? Has anyone put the cheese graters from a 348 onto a 355?

    They are interchangeable. :):)

    As are doors, front and rear bars, front lights, tail lights/CH gril ect..ect.. :):)

    I would LOVE to see a 355 with 348 cheese graters on the sides. :eek::eek:

    It would probably look like a 348, and I think you've seen one of them :)
