I forgot, I saw a 430 Scuderia at Zagame service department when I dropped off my Granturismo for a ton of warranty drama. Dark red, gold wheels and silly $10k stripe.
Sorry to hear about the drama, hopefully it will be resolved quickly. Ditto on the stripe, never liked it. I think it hoons up a respectable marque.
The GT has a long list of mainly electronic gremlins plus a couple of minor things that broke. The factory hasn't replied on the wavy sill panels. Not a great experience so far, I hope it gets better or it will have limited tenure in the garage.
is it actual paint issue or is it just panels came out of bad moulds that waves like an aftermarket fibreglass panel?
It appears to be just bad design. The sill panel is injection moulded plastic like the nose cone of many modern cars. In this application, the panel is too long and the plastic too thin and it sinks between the attachment points on the body giving the wavy appearance.
The only thing wrong with it at that point was the sill panels. At 4000 km's the list is: -indicator doesn't self cancel when turning left -emergency boot release cable doesn't work. Problem when battery is in boot and battery is flat! - brake lights stay on for 5-10 mins after car turned off and permanently on when driving. - random ASR and active suspension failure warning lights on dash. One minute it's fine, the next the warning lights go off - randomly holds a gear to redline/engine cutout when gearbox is in "drive" mode- i.e. fill automatic mode - Saved music on hard drive randomly seizes momentarily - rear number plate falling off - wavy sill panels I love the car when it's all working fine; but at the moment it's like having a beautiful Italian girlfriend that is mentally unstable and drives you nuts as a result.
i know the factory should supply and fit proper panels for free, but worst comes to worst, get it moulded fixed and reproduced in Carbon Fibre, and you can probably sell them as well.
I saw it tonight at hurstville too. Also saw a black 430 spider on monday at the law courts (3rd in 4 days, common!)

430 Spider with the roof up today on Edithvale Road, Braeside heading towards Springvale at around 4.20pm. I was in the Testa and he snuck up behind me but was only there for a brief instant as I turned off.
Looks like everyone is with you on that one scud, me included. BTW, good result at Calder. I was suprised it didn't rain. It tried hard.
No need to apologise kongman. Each to their own mate. I prefer the yellow over this colour. I just find this red to be a little too scarlety and don't like the gold wheels. Mind you if someone gave me the car I wouldn't complain. lol
