Hey guys, It's time for our monthly gathering of car enthusiasts here in the twin cities. Last month we had a phenomenal turn out with about 70 cars from many different parts of the world. Location: Caribou Coffee/Einstein Brothers Bagels parking lot off of Shady Oak Rd and Hwy 62 in Minnetonka. We'll meet from 9am to 11am. Map to Location: http://www.cariboucoffee.com/asp/loc...p&recordId=130 This Saturday we are planning to add a small drive and Dyno day to the fun. Todd from APS in Shakopee has invited a group of us to go check out his shop and new Dyno. He will be charging $40 for 2 dyno pulls. Let me know if you are interested in attending so that I can give Todd an idea on how many cars to expect. Stay tuned to all of the Cars & Coffee threads as I am planning a special event after each one. Please mark your calendars with the following dates: July 5th August 2nd September 6th October 4th HD Videos from the last 2 months C&C's (Thanks Matt!): http://vimeo.com/867823 http://vimeo.com/979756 Please forward this on to all of your sports/exotic car friends and encourage them to come on out. Well have some photographers out there and well post up some shots on the different forums. Hope to see you all there. Thanks, Luis
id like to see the results from the dyno pulls hopfully that 427 C5 convter went and how much power does that silver supra have that showed up late? Me and my buddy saw it on 62 when we left and turneda around he has a 92 supra so thats where the interest comes from!
Just got home. What a great turnout, over 100 cars for sure. I spoke with management of the restaurant across the street and they said we could use their lot if it gets too full in our current spot. They have 139 spots and they don't open untill 11am. They also said that moving forward, anybody that mentions our Cars and Coffee will get 25% off of their lunch that day. Thanks to Todd at APS for a great dyno day. There were a few cool cars that were there: Marty's Proto 996TT (It was aDynoject so he could not get it dynoed due to the AWD) Bryant's Modded GT2 (Under the Knife) Mark in a 360 Spyder (Did not dyno it) Blue Ford GT (571whp) White Ford GT (I left before they dynoed it) AtomicZ's Z06 (547rwhp) Camerons VW GTi (168whp) E36 M3 (202 whp) My father's 02 GT2 with a Gen 1 Fabspeed abd EVOMS V-Flow (457 RWHP and 433RWT) Anyways, here are some pics: Ruf BTR: 996 GT3 & GT2: Paul's Polar Silver 996TT: Marty's Proto 996TT: One of many NSX's there: 911: RS6 with no hail damage: Pretty serious Supra: 360 Spyder with a **** posing next to it: 930:
ROFL! Looks like mostly Porsches and 'Vettes were there. My favorite was the "tricked out" Triumph Spitfire.
well that was the first one i went to and it was a strong turnout... which one of you guys wants to go drive around the crazy roads right there where they r all one ways and u go left or right and take me with. i took my jeep through there and thought how fun it would be to do in a car with some actual suspension. i wanted to stay longer but i had to get out to minnetonka and start my long day at big island
yup.. they go all over and if i only had a ferrari or z06 oh would that be fun!!! u gotta car that would be up for that? ... SHOTGUN
LOTS of police action though. Ive been run out of there by cop cars and choppers. It has settled down back there over the last couple of years, but the less people that know whats back there.... the better.
july i wanna see some crazy ****. so everyone bring it all... lots of F-CARS. its gets better and better each month lets make it amazing
Exactly! Guess what I do for a living? I will be toast on July 5th. It would take a minor miracle for me to actually show up.
My buddy Tyler had his blue RS6 there that got hit pretty hard with haild while sitting outside at Carousel for service. Out friend Brett's gray RS6 was there and I was busting hsi chops a bit.
