silver Rolls Royce Phantom on bambra road, caulfield around 11.15 today. God it was huge. the road presence of those things is incredibly
First at FARMFEST just between toowoomba and oakey, Bentley Flying Spur, in a green, plates "06 BSG" or BGS or something. Had stuff over grille and bottom vents to stop bugs. I assume its one of the wealthy farmers out west. GRAN TURISMO BLACK, with red or light red orange interior. I saw it head into town, then head out of town, again out towards oakey on the highway? I nearly crashed when I saw it. A mate saw it heading up from brisi way yesterday? Must live out of town. Guy driving looked like Andrew Forest at a glance ... Plates were: "N BG 46 X" Anyone know anything about the car?
"QSM" on a porker. Q spotted on tedder! Maseratti Quattroporte and 45ooGT or whatever both at tedder. R8, grey, heading south on the M1. New M3 at headges...
yeah. ive seen a few now! I knew the orders for the GT were higher than combined new car sales for last year. Just wondering if it was a downs car, or demo or what... hummm... hows yours running now?
I saw a black bentley conti gt at coles! If you want nice door scratches park there! Saw some old Porsche(googling) looked like a 550, so must of been a replica. Also saw a indy red M6 and black DB9 Volante. (+2 ferraris )
Sh*t, thanks for asking No repairs been done and the faulty brake switch causes the active suspension and the ASR to fault and throw warning lights and buzzers constantly. I think it's been like that for 4000km's now. No word from dealer on spare parts; but that's not surprising as I am still waiting for my F50's fuel tanks (only been 7 months since first contact). Also never got paperwork for the first GT service that was promised AND they tore the door leather/plastic cover on the lift while it was in there. Not a happy experience and quite frankly I feel like trading it on something else. Newsflash: Goober was right. Shame really as it is a lovely car when it's working.
I know our comments mean nothing when you feel the same but it really is pathetic. Ii guess they shouldnt have rushed so much to get them out on time? Sounds like they just didnt do the final finishing they needed too. Sorry to hear. Really dosnt sound good for the Marque. I wouldnt buy one just on your experience alone. I forgot to say I saw two duke 1098's at tedder side by side... hot bikes...
shame is a hell of a nice looking car but after hearing about all these problems its enuff to put any1 off......so is it just your car or have you spoken to other owners and they are having the same problems
The problem with the car is a small one- a faulty brake switch. The rest of the problems are related to the organisation backing it up. Shame as I said, it's a beautiful car for the daily commute.
So I suppose they have ordered you a new brake switch and will fit it once it arrives? Well, lets hope they ordered it. Once that is fixed, get the paintshop to touch up the sils, replace the torn door leather/plasitc cover, then its happy motoring.
New sills ordered as well as the faulty brake switch. They have to repair the damage caused to the door at the last service, which BTW they didn't even tell me about!!! If you think back to all the problems I have had since I ordered this car, let alone the recent drama you can see why I have lost the love for it. I am hopeful that the brake switch will fix the functionality of the car at least.
It's a shame that you've had these problems while minor have taken away your love for the car. How long do you plane on keeping it for? You kept the CSL for a few years didn't you?
