Engine was fine for first year and a half. The top of the engine's center cam holder cracked during mid-season year two. QS fixed it for a mere $600, which included a good as new top block and moving all the bits over. Nothing done to bottom end. Imagine what a cracked top end of a Ferrari would have cost to fix(!).

Why did you sell it?

As a 1-man 'team' most of the time, the time/effort was getting a bit much PLUS earned the driver's title for SCCA's NARRC and NY regions. Gonna take time off to once again travel the world, which have not done for the past 2 years much at all like BEFORE racing. Maybe in a few years i'll go for an FA or, probably more likely, a Radical, DSR or some faster-as-heck closed-wheel car. Really want a 2-seater so i can take a few friends out on the track with me for fun rides. Debated a lowly Atom as a 'tween' car, yet after the fun in an FC i think anything that can not handle over 2G in the turns will be a major letdown.
