You are THE man! I knew that you had both, and you even threw in the bonus shot of the duct tape on the driver's seat and the wall to wall carpeting dash cover!

Too bad it doesn't have a Firebird engine; a 'shaker' hood scoop would have looked better...

Car is s/n #37647. A 400i auto was the donor car for this, although it's fitted with a 400 GT Maunal gearbox. It was designed by Chris Hampson (a freelance industrial designer) and Gary Major, and built by Brian Wingfield (DRL Engineering, Jaguar D-type replicas), and built for Anthony Bamford, it's first owner.

Actually, the shot of the interior is to confirm that the car is, indeed, an automatic (a la the obfuscating stamping on Larry Warren's five-speed mentioned in the 400 registry thread).

That wasn't the only spot of duct tape on the driver's seat, and judging by the rest of the interior, I imagine the odometer's been around the clock at least once (maybe twice, because the mileage wasn't that high). But hood scoop or not, the guy's got a Ferrari and he's enjoying it.
