Suspicious Ebay 275 GTS #7903

1966 275 GTS, red with tan #7903 on Ebay #260500304309.

In "Norman, OK" with minimal description, a new Ebay member, and, hummm.... no reserve.

Anyone know this car and who it actually belongs to?

From the Ferrari Market Letter:
The photo of the car was lifted from a listing by Lindburg Caddilac, in MO, in June 2009.

My car was 8 cars behind this one on the production line.

I wonder which ones were in between.

Regards,

The 275 spammer sent me the following email today:

Hi,
My name is James Palmer.I am the owner of the 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS.The car is in perfect condition never involved in any accident, available for sale with a bottom price of $25.000.We can make this transaction trough eBay Vehicle Purchase Program $50.000 insurance. If you are still interested in my car let me know.
Regards,
James Palmer.
Everything works perfectly, no books.

I emailed him back asking if the A/C worked well.
But I'm sorry, I would never spend $25K on a 275 without books.

He's very precise, this Mr. Palmer. He even notes down tenths of cents...

$25 bucks for a 275GTS. I wonder if tax is included.

I know that Lindburg Cadillac did have the real car for many, many years and our local Bentley dealer had the car recently and did some work on it and the car may be consigned to them.
