GTSi throttle return spring plate

I spent a hour or so looking in the archives and finally decided to go to the folks that know. When I tore my car down years ago I discovered the throttle return spring had been attached to the front intake manifold with a piece of wire... a quick look showed that someone had snapped off one of the attachement screws for the stock return spring holder. Someone along the line just tossed the other screw and plate and used bailing wire... Hey, the car came from Houston... <grin><looking for flame proof underwear>
I knew someday I'd have to drill the busted screw out and do it right. Today was that day and the gents at FerrParts were able to get me the correct return spring holder from a burned car but now I need to know exactly which way this plate should be mounted. I think this is it but its only a 1 in 4 chance I'm right. Should it point up or down? Mount above or below the cross casting? Anyone have a pic of how it should be attached.

Thanks in advance...
Rick

Favor done... I have a couple of old sets of weber carb covers that work great on those open intakes and rags stuck in the coolant holes. I just yanked them all off for the picture then they went right back on.

But thanks, its always good to have a second set of eyes looking over things...

Rick
