Sorry, i did not see this question.......but I am simply documenting Countach mechanical/electrical details for my own benefit. Also trying to stimulate more conversation from the owners and mechanics beyond ownership and colors, if possible. I like the details about the details on the smallest details.
like - Do we have a pdf of the 1978 Jaeger catalog for gauges and senders for Countach application? Thank for your help on this gauge quest. More details requested Craig |

I am guessing that this Tach is actually 997A, even tho the 9's look more like 6's

Yes, I'd agree with that...looking at it again the suffixes on the other gauges face the same direction...It was the fadedd bottom of the 7 that got me. Good catch

The tach is a 997A.
My SW catalog dates from around 1978. Chadbourn Bolles Lamborghinionly@Yahoo.com 803 532 6257 I am guessing that this Tach is actually 997A, even tho the 9's look more like 6's[/QUOTE] |

Here is an early LP400S gauge panel left.
Does the oil pressure gauge #4 have a low warning light on its face? Is there a low oil pressure warning on an LP400S? thx Craig |

Strictly speaking, this is not the gauge binnacle of an early LP400S. An early LP400S would be one of the first 27 S1 cars, and it would have Stewart Warner gauges. This would be one of the second set of S1 cars, an S2 car, or an S3 car. |

Yes there is a low pressure light on the oil pressure gauge on the LP400S. Not sure on the SW gauges of the very early cars.

Did US delivery cars with SW gauges get metric or SAE units? mph vs kmh, degrees F vs Celsius, etc

Also like to know, this LP400S Jaeger oil pressure gauge has a warning light on it's face? If so where is the light located please? any picture of such? does this light illuminate at each start-up until oil pressure is achieved? what pressure (bar) is it set at? thanks Craig |

There is a red light between the first and second line from the bottom. It goes off when you start the car.
